$6.7 MILLION RAISED BY THE GLOBAL LICENSING INDUSTRY SINCE 2004

Roughly one-third of kids around the world who are diagnosed with cancerous brain tumors do not live beyond the age of five. It is the deadliest childhood cancer, yet research for this disease is one of the most underfunded. For over a decade, Licensing International’s charity of choice has been the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation, which is committed to finding a cure for the deadliest childhood cancer.

Since 2004, more than $6.7 million has been raised for the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation through advertisements in the Licensing International Excellence Awards Tribute Book and numerous other fundraising activities.

Licensing International is the only corporate sponsor of the CBTF – without the generous support of the licensing community, the CBTF would not be able to expand and continue to add more hospitals to its research team.

The CBTF was recently recognized by the US White House for the multi-institutional, collaborative approach of this groundbreaking research initiative. Click here to learn more about the amazing work of the CBTF.

Licensing International raises money for the CBTF throughout the year, through fundraising activities like the Licensing International Excellence Awards Tribute Book and a 28-mile charity bike ride through the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area in Nevada’s Mojave Desert every year.

Fundraising activities are organized by the Licensing International Charity Committee, which is chaired by Liza Abrams of Sakar International, Joanne Loria of The Joester Loria Group, Ted Larkins, business strategy coach and author, and Jay Asher of Brandgenuity. Every year we are staggered by the generosity and compassion of the global licensing community.

The Licensing Industry Hall of Fame is home to the most esteemed global licensing executives of the last three decades.

These bastions of the industry have shaped our business in ways often too innumerable to count. Every year since 1989, at least one (and sometimes multiple) individuals who have had a unique and lasting impact on the industry join the ranks of licensing’s best and brightest.

Take a look at past Hall of Fame inductees

Every year we produce a high-quality Tribute Book in conjunction with the Licensing International Excellence Awards to showcase all of the year’s nominees, as well as the Hall of Fame inductees and Rising Stars.

Companies are invited to use this opportunity to congratulate any of the night’s honorees by taking an ad, the proceeds of which go directly to Licensing International’s charity of choice – the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation.
